Endline Evaluation of Resilience Building for refugees, IDPs and host communities in Ethiopia and Uganda Phase II (ReBuild II)

SOS Children's Villages

Bodhi conducted an end-line evaluation of SOS's Resilience Building for refugees, IDPs and host communities in Ethiopia and Uganda programme Phase II (Rebuild II). The evaluation assessed the programme's effectiveness and appropriateness, focusing on its impact on children, families, and communities. We paid special attention to whether interventions allowed for equal access irrespective of gender, age, disability status or origin. Data collection followed a mixed-methods approach, with primary and secondary data collected through a desk review of 25 documents, 30 key informant interviews, 14 focus group discussions, and a face-to-face survey with 407 beneficiaries (205 in Ethiopia and 202 in Uganda). This comprehensive assessment aimed to provide insights into the programme's success in building resilience among vulnerable populations and inform future interventions in similar contexts.
