Bodhi was contracted by CARE International to conduct an assessment and mapping of existing systems, mechanisms and networks for conflict resolution and local peacebuilding in the Wau and Pariang Counties of South Sudan. This comprehensive analysis identified key actors, processes, and initiatives currently in place for managing conflicts and promoting peace at the local level. The study aimed to provide a clear overview of the peacebuilding landscape in these counties, highlighting strengths, gaps, and potential areas for intervention or support. It employed a mixed-methods approach, relying on key informant interviews, focus group discussions, and a household survey for data collection.
