Synthesis of Finland’s Support to Women and Girls Rights 2015‐2025
Bodhi undertook a synthesis to distill relevant existing evidence and produce new knowledge on the extent to which Finland has supported the advancement of women and girls’ rights between 2015 and 2025. This study harvested, analysed and synthesised results, successes and challenges in achieving the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs' various policy objectives. The main users of the synthesis are the different units and departments of the Ministry leading and managing development policy and cooperation. The geographical scope of the synthesis was global and the temporal scope was between 2015-2025. In addition to conducting the analysis of the results, Bodhi proposed areas of further inquiry for the forthcoming evaluation on the same topic, including the identification of knowledge gaps related to gender and human rights.
