Mid-term Evaluation of the 'Protection of children affected by armed conflicts in Sub-Saharan Africa' Programme

Save the Children International

Bodhi conducted a mid-term evaluation of Save the Children International's 'Children Affected by Armed Conflict' programme (2020-2023, initiated under Sweden’s strategy for Regional Development Cooperation for Sub-Saharan Africa 2016-2021. The programme operated across sub-Saharan Africa, aiming to build the capacity of civil society and national stakeholders, including armed forces, to advocate for and mainstream the protection of children and recognition of their rights. The objective of the evaluation was to evaluate the project planning and implementation and inform the next phase of programming. Bodhi's evaluation assessed the programme's progress, effectiveness, and impact at its midpoint, providing insights to guide its continued implementation and improve its ability to protect children in conflict-affected regions.
